<p>La Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia de España inició un <strong>expediente sancionador contra </strong><a href="https://dplnews.com/espana-sanciona-a-google-por-infracciones-a-la-proteccion-de-datos/"><strong>Google</strong></a> (Google LCC, Google Ireland y Google Spain) y su matriz Alphabet por <strong>prácticas restrictivas de la competencia</strong> a partir de la imposición de condiciones inequitativas a las <strong>editoriales de publicaciones de prensa y agencia de noticias españolas</strong>.</p>



<p>Se investigará si el implicado incurre en acciones prohibidas por los <strong>artículos dos y tres de la Ley de Defensa de la Competencia</strong>, que hablan de abuso de posición dominante y falseamiento de la libre competencia por actos desleales, y por <strong>el artículo 102 del Tratado de Funcionamiento de la Unión Europea</strong>, que detalla prácticas susceptibles de ser consideradas como de explotación abusiva.</p>



<p>El expediente tiene su origen en una denuncia recibida por el regulador por parte del <strong>Centro Español de Derechos Reprográficos (Cedro)</strong>. En una primera instancia, la Dirección de Competencia de la CNMC evaluó que <strong>“existen indicios racionales de posibles infracciones</strong>” por parte del denunciado. Ya corre el plazo de 18 meses para la instrucción del documento y su resolución.</p>

<p class="eplus-prwWuL">O consumo de livros, depois de vários anos de dificuldade, viu o total de exemplares vendidos<a href="https://cultura.estadao.com.br/noticias/literatura,venda-de-livros-cresce-48-5-no-primeiro-semestre,70003806255" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">&nbsp;crescer 50% no primeiro semestre</a>, para um total de 28 milhões de unidades, segundo o painel Nielsen para o setor. Embalada pelo renovado interesse pela leitura trazido pela pandemia de&nbsp;<a href="https://tudo-sobre.estadao.com.br/coronavirus" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">covid-19</a>, uma nova onda de startups está trabalhando para entregar o prazer da leitura aos brasileiros também em formato de áudio, diretamente no aparelho preferido das pessoas: o celular.</p>



<p class="eplus-X8ZBpL">Um dos nomes do segmento é a startup carioca <strong>Ubook</strong>, que oferece um serviço de assinatura para <strong>audiolivros</strong> – a ideia é ofertas obras em áudio para incluir a literatura em momentos de deslocamento ou de lazer, como a ida ao trabalho ou à academia. Fundada em 2014 por Flávio Osso e Eduardo Albano, a startup já recebeu mais de R$ 23 milhões em aportes. </p>



<p class="eplus-Tetxl7">O trabalho da Ubook é feito com o licenciamento de obras e a produção local das peças. A empresa aposta no investimento em plataformas de áudio e na estrutura de gravação, narração e distribuição dos livros pelo aplicativo. As obras chegam aos clientes por R$ 19 mensais, em um plano que dá acesso a cerca de 60 mil títulos, que estão disponíveis em modelos de áudio e também de e-book. </p>
